Terms of sale
Last updated: October 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern sales made on leowetsuits.com between LeoWetsuits (“we”) and anyone placing an order (“the customer”). By ordering, the customer accepts them. The applicable terms are those in force on the date of the order.
2. Products
Our products are presented with great care. Photographs are not contractual and colours may vary slightly. As wetsuits are handmade, slight differences are possible.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros, including all taxes, excluding delivery costs shown before payment. The applicable price is the one in force at the time of the order.
4. Order and payment
The order is concluded once payment is validated, made online by bank card, PayPal or any other method offered at checkout. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an existing dispute, suspected fraud or exceptional unavailability, with a full refund.
5. Delivery
Times and costs are detailed on the Shipping page: 5 to 7 days in Europe and 5 to 14 days elsewhere for in-stock items; 3 to 5 weeks for custom or made-to-order items. If delivery is more than 7 days late, the customer may terminate the contract under the legal conditions. Outside the EU, import duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
6. Withdrawal, returns and cancellation
In-stock items have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt. Custom or personalised items are excluded (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). Details on the Returns and refunds page.
7. Custom orders
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the measurements provided. The wetsuit is guaranteed to match these measurements.
8. Warranties
Our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). Contact: hello@leowetsuits.com.
9. Liability
We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure. A wetsuit is sports equipment: the customer remains responsible for choosing size and thickness for the intended use.
10. Intellectual property
All elements of the site (texts, photos, logos, videos) are the property of LeoWetsuits. Any reproduction without written consent is prohibited.
11. Personal data
See our privacy policy.
12. Consumer mediation
After a written complaint to us (hello@leowetsuits.com) that was not satisfactorily resolved, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: CM2C – Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net. You can also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law; failing an amicable agreement, French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights.
